City Council To Consider Fire Inspection Ordinance
When the City Council asked for public input on fire inspections, they may not have been prepared to have such resounding opposition. There was little question as to the position held by businesses throughout the community during the April 2nd City Council meeting. (See article here).
With barely a quorum of Councilmembers present, it was unanimously agreed to table discussion until the May 5th meeting, at which time community business owners will once again have an opportunity to make their voices heard.
The May 5 meeting is scheduled at its new day and time of Mondays at 7:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers.
